Pago
In recent months we've been working with Pago to develop a process that allows eCommerce websites to accept non-credit card payments. You can now make website sales to customers who don't have a credit card. Pago customers keep cash funds in a virtual wallet and use that money to buy online or to make direct payments to individuals via txt or web.
Like a real wallet, a Pago wallet is simply a place for your customers to keep some cash.
When your customers are in the Shopping Cart section of your website, they just click the Pago payment option. They put in their Pago Wallet Name and Paystation will check that they have sufficient funds in their wallet to make the purchase. A unique number will then be sent to their Pago inbox (mobile number or email address) and once they've entered that number, the transaction is complete... more information
If your business doesn't have an eCommerce website but you're out and about dealing with customers face-to-face, Pago is still a safe, fast and convenient way to get paid.
Pago is a payment platform developed by ASB Bank that has been designed specifically for the online and mobile environments. For you it means payment certainty and lower than standard fees (compared to receiving credit card payments). While your Pago merchant agreement will be with ASB Bank Limited, you do not have to have your business banking with ASB Bank to be able to accept Pago payments.
