Merchant Administration Upgrade If you have your Merchant Account with ASB Bank, Bank of New Zealand, National Bank or Westpac then your Merchant Administration system was upgraded on the morning of the 8th Feb 2007. However, there will be some minor changes detailed below that will affect Merchants that use the Merchant Administration portal: (These changes only affect your Virtual Payment Suite Merchant Adminstration, Paystation Administration will remain the same). - Merchant Administrator Logon Changes.
The Administrator Operator ID has been simplified as follows: Old Logon ID = administrator New Logon ID = admin
Note: Please logon using the New Logon ID and use your usual password (the system will prompt you to change your password for security purposes once you have logged in). This change affects the administrator Operator ID only (does not affect sub users). - User ID’s with spaces
User Id’s that contain spaces are no longer supported. However these users can continue to logon by replacing the space with an underscore. Example:
An Operator ID that is John Smith Will change to John_Smith - Navigation Menus
- The transaction text heading `MOTO’ located in the navigation menu has been amended to `Orders’.
- The transaction search text heading `Shopping Transaction Search’ located in the navigation menu has been amended to `Order Search’.
- Transaction History
60 days of current historical transactional data will be retained on the new version for merchants to view. We can still get a report for the last years transactions for you with this request is made in the next 14 days. As always, all information available in Paystation Administration can still be accessed. - Transaction Download
Merchants will have the additional ability to download transactions in a file format through the Merchant Administration Portal following the upgrade. - Test Card Number Expiry Date
The test card number of 06/07 is no longer valid, please use 05/13 (mm/yy) for any test card transaction. Applies to Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Diners.
